WITNESS’ Grace Lile wins 2010 Archival Achievent Award

This exciting news I just heard is now a week old.  But I feel compelled to offer a congratulations to Grace Lile, recipient of this year’s 2010 Archival Achievement Award!  The award is given by the Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York and was presented to Lile at Columbia University’s Center for Human Rights Documentation & Research on October 27, 2010.  The same day coincided with UNESCO‘s World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, which was a fitting tribute to Lile as an archivist specializing in film and video collections.
